Beacon Point

This meal is my farewell before I going intern.
Thank you very much :)

Well this place is one of the place which may be considered when going for lunch or dinner. The price are reasonable with a nice dinning environment. Drinks are served upon visit with a nice serving attitude.

Set lunch only RM18++. I think its quite reasonable for the food nowadays.

I ordered mix grilled lamb this time:
Soup of the Day
Main Course
Desert
Coffee/Tea

A nice appetizer (Not included in the set lunch): Rum Raisins Cheese Cake :)

Soup of the day
Soup is served hot with breads as topping but the amount of pepper is too much. It'll be nice if they reduce the amount of pepper.

Mixed Grilled Lamb
Inside got potato salad, pickled vegetables (Red Bean, Carrot, etc.), Sausage, Ham, and Steak. The peppermint sauce is special. Its different from what we usually eat. Its in jelly form but still the taste remain nice

This is the map of the shop

Below are some of the pictures of the shop:

Fried noodle accompanied by steamed chicken or chicken leg is one of the most common item. But this shop offer octopus as part of it's serving. Its rare to get this dish around Ipoh.

The baby octopus is boiled then seasoned with oil and kicap with sprinkled fried onion on top. It gives a chewy and also crunchy texture where each bite fills your mouth with the fragrant of the seasoning :)

Mediterranean Chicken and Apple Pie

Apple Pie
The crust quite starchy.
Does not really bring out the nice fragrant of a baked apple.

Mediterranean Chicken

The crispiness of the chicken skin covering a soft and sweet meat.
Covered with a specially made sauce but a bit too salty .
But still really something worth trying :)

The potatoes are baked and oil free. The skin are still there but I just eat it that way.

The mixed vegetable are being fried for a short period of time.
Free drinks when we order the set. RM8 only
